Course Overview:
This isn't your average trauma course. This scenario-based, advanced trauma management training is designed for students who already have a basic understanding of tourniquet use and TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) principles. If you're ready to take your trauma skills from theoretical to practical under stress, this is the class you've been waiting for.
Our instructors – including Army special mission medics, sniper team medics, and firefighter/paramedics – don’t waste time with medical jargon or fluff. Instead, we focus on what actually saves lives when things go bad: fast decisions, minimal equipment, and practiced hands-on skills. Whether it’s a car accident, an assault, or a workplace injury, you will be better prepared when seconds matter.
Why Take This Course?
Because "the body won’t go where the mind hasn’t."
In high-stress trauma situations, your training will either guide you – or fail you. Our real-world scenarios put your skills to the test and help rewire your reactions so that when that terrible day comes, you don’t freeze… you act.
What You’ll Learn (and Do):
We teach the MARCH algorithm to keep things clear and effective:
Massive Hemorrhage (Tourniquets, Pressure Dressings)
Airway (Open & Manage Airway Issues)
Respiration (Chest Wounds, Tension Pneumo basics)
Circulation (Shock prevention: the lethal triad)
Hypothermia/Head Injuries
Plus:
Victim assessment under stress
Scenario-based wound management (chest, head, ab wounds)
Movement & extraction (team and single-person drags/carries)
Victim hand-off to EMS
High-stress, real-time trauma response scenarios
Peer-reviewed performance debriefs – gain insights from others' successes and mistakes
Realistic Scenarios + Legal Insight
After your trauma scenarios, we’ll conduct peer-driven legal debriefs similar to our Home Defense class format. You’ll be judged by your peers (and advised by a retired federal attorney) on your actions during the scenario. This pushes students to think beyond just "what to do," and into why and how those actions may be viewed after the fact.
What to Bring:
Any personal med bag or first aid kit (we’ll review it with you)
A snack and water
Comfortable clothes you can move in
An open mind and willingness to train under pressure
Who Should Attend?
Individuals with basic trauma care training (TCCC, Stop the Bleed, etc.)
First responders
Armed citizens
Security personnel
Anyone serious about being the difference between life and death when trauma strikes

This business is holding a two-hour de-escalation seminar and a one-hour scenario based training at our downtown location!
De-escalation is important for any business because it helps maintain a calm, respectful, and productive environment. Whether dealing with customers, employees, or clients, conflicts can arise from stress, miscommunication, or frustration. Using de-escalation techniques—like active listening, staying calm, and showing empathy—can prevent minor disagreements from becoming major issues. It protects a company’s reputation, promotes positive relationships, and enhances customer satisfaction. For employees, it creates a safer and more supportive workplace where people feel heard and valued. Ultimately, de-escalation isn’t just about resolving conflict—it’s about building trust, professionalism, and long-term success.

We are excited to bring back our swap meet! The concept is simple- if you have a bunch of stuff you want to get rid of AND are willing to part with it for garage sale prices- then we'd love for you to get a table here! Think your used PMAGS are worth $20 each? Find a normal gunshow with those trash prices! The goal is to empty the stuff you don't use at home and get it in the hands of someone who will use it! Last year this was a huge success! Let's do it again this year!
Doors open Saturday Nov 22nd at 9am and will close at 5pm. This is a ONE DAY event this year!
We've outgrown hosting this at the Rev-Tac Range, so we are moving it this year to Rev-Tac Training Institute's 10,000 sq ft facility downtown Sioux City!
Entry fee is $5/public!
Vendors: You don't have to be a business! Clean out all the parts, cool things you haven't used in awhile and reserve your table(s) at the event! If you are a business, you're welcome here but this isn't a typical gu#show. Leave your overpriced ammo and guns at home...bring the prices you'd sell stuff to your family for!
I know we are cleaning out our backroom at the range so expect quality goodies from us like tripods, optics, freedom seeds, noise making thingies, holsters, rings, slings, chest rigs, a bunch of pouches and belts, cases and more!
RTTI is located on the 3rd Story of the Coffee King building at 1301 3rd St, Downtown Sioux City!
Contact us for more details or to save your booth or table! $25/table for vendors!

If you've ever wanted to become a Range Safety Officer- this is your chance. Rev-Tac has been teaching thousands of students a year over the last 15 years. We have become the training body for other instructors, gun store staff, LE, MIL and security team leaders that want to advance their ability beyond the ol' outdated traditional certifications.
What we cover:
Modern firearm safety- and how to teach it to folks who don't "know" guns.
Range safety briefs, range commands and med planning.
Safety standards on and off the firing line.
Holster work by the numbers- recognizing gear and holster work that would be dangerous.
Correcting someone without getting punched in the face.
Fixing malfunctions safely- while using it as a teachable moment.
Target stand-off distances.
The fundamentals of marksmanship- recognizing when someone is going to need a bandaid if they shoot like that.
A bunch of other topics that arise during this awesome discussion and demonstration.
What to expect:
You'll spend a few hours in the classroom watching video of firearm accidents, discussing the above stuff, before practicing dry, then going out on the range live. We go through a ton of scenarios...then set you free on a live fire range to RSO for an actual class for observation and soft corrections. You won't leave here an expert. That takes practice and time gaining real-world experience...but you will leave here with a solid understanding of what "right and wrong" look like and the tools to correct it. One of the best ways to prevent accidents on a range is clear communication ahead of going live. This part of the training is vital...learning to make the complicated stuff simple enough to understand. This course is for people who are experienced and capable shooters. This isn't a basic course. IF you aren't sure if you should be here, please contact us ahead of time. Unlike other governing bodies, you can fail this course and not receive the certification from safety violations, personality problems or any other reason that would negatively effect the image of the gun community.
Course cost:
$125/student
What to bring:
Handgun, quality holster, electronic ear protection, 50 rounds, eye protection, note taking material. Drinks and snacks.
What to wear:
Dress for the weather. Layers. We will be both inside and outside. DO NOT plan on wearing thick gloves to shoot in. Buy quality shooting gloves or just plan on keeping your hands warm between iterations. Call or text if you have questions about this.
What's required of you ahead of time:
You should already have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of safety and marksmanship. You should know how guns work. You should have taken formal firearm classes before. You will need to prove your proficiency with firearms, from rifles and shotguns to handguns.
Please call or text 712-253-8810 with any questions.
See you there.

For many years now, churches have been an "easy" target for active killings. Why? There are a lot of reasons, but simply put, it's a large group confined to a space that normally has different opinions, values and beliefs than the person wishing to do them harm. Combine that with a growing mental health crisis and political unrest...and you have the need for creating plans and procedures for your church.
This seminar covers the options- formal or informal security teams...armed and unarmed... discussing the benefits and draw backs to each. We study past attacks, pre-threat indicators (the signs and signals that people can help but display), and we create a "profile" through past attackers of the behaviors you are looking for.
We then discuss what it takes to make your church an undesirable target...to hopefully avoid the threat all together.
This seminar dips it's toes into the mindset and tactics of a security team, but cannot possibly cover everything in one evening. Catch the follow up class to this (see our Rapid Response Team info at www.rev-tac.com) in order to begin building an armed security team. Or you can reach out for custom training opportunities for your church specifically at: Timgrover@Rev-Tac.Com
Encourage you pastor, elders, members...anyone who has questions about this to attend! Have people already carrying to defend your congregation? Awesome! But they should attend the CHURCH SECURITY PISTOL TACTICS class we have. It's really important to understand your ACTUAL capability with a gun, not just HOPE you have the skills to protect others. Confidence kills. Audit your skills...especially if you are on a church security team.

Welcome to the family!
Come test your mind, your determination and your physical limits as you experience a military-style special mission selection. You will be part of a team that is all trying to make it through 2.5 days of mental and physical challenges. This isn't basic training...you won't be smoked for no reason. This experience is to see how you rank against your peers, if you have what it takes to not quit hard things and for anyone wanting to go onto do big things in the military, this will help prepare you for your upcoming selections.
Who can attend? Well, anyone can attend...from bankers to doctors to high schoolers. Guys or girls. People who have served, are thinking of serving, have never served...it doesn't matter. If you have a the ability to run two miles without stopping, do 30+ pushups, possibly a pull up or two...you are in some sort of shape to attend this training. If you can't do those things, you are welcome to sign up and attend on our alternate roster... a group that is welcome to start the event, but not expected to finish the weekend..but if you do...AWESOME! Contact us for more details.
What to expect:
From the minute you get here to the minute you leave, you will be challenged. Challenged to think outside the box, as a team player and dig deep for you last ounces of discipline and determination. You can quit at anytime...heck, we encourage you to. This experience will teach you to put others above yourself, drive on, earn your way and recognize that you have more ability to do hard things than you think. You will walk away with a new outlook!
Why is this so hard?
You won't get a ton of sleep. You'll be dirty and wet more than you want to be. You will experience physical and mental exhaustion and still have to perform. You'll learn actual military skills and tactics. Things you may already know and things you never thought you'd need to know!
What to bring:
We have a packing list that will be emailed to each participant. You can pack as much or as little as you'd like- but the things we tell you to pack will make your life easier. I'd stick to it.
A few of the items:
1- 6 pairs of socks
2- 2 pairs of ankle covering hiking style boots
3- 1 pair of sandals
4- 1 pair of black shorts and 2 dark green shirts

This is what this (private) group is covering:
In recent years, churches have become increasingly vulnerable to targeted violence. Whether motivated by ideological differences, mental health crises, or societal unrest, attackers often view houses of worship as soft targets. It's time to change that perception—starting with awareness, planning, and informed response.
This interactive seminar is designed for church leaders, safety teams, and members who want to take proactive steps to protect their congregation. Topics include:
Understanding the Threat: Why churches are targeted—and how to make yours an undesirable target.
Formal vs. Informal Security Teams: The pros and cons of organized versus ad-hoc teams, and the role of armed and unarmed personnel.
Pre-Threat Indicators: Learn how to recognize concerning behaviors and warning signs before violence occurs. We'll examine attacker profiles, behavioral patterns, and early indicators from real-life case studies.
Trauma Management & Aftermath Response: What to do after an incident. Learn the basics of trauma care and how to emotionally and logistically support your congregation in the aftermath of a crisis.
Real-World Case Studies: Study past church attacks to understand what worked, what failed, and what could have prevented tragedy.
This seminar offers an essential foundation in church safety culture, with a peek into the mindset and responsibilities of a functioning security team. While we cannot cover everything in a single evening, this session is the first step toward readiness.
This is a private course not open to the public. To schedule your private training, to get a quote, or schedule a lesson - call or text us at (712) 570-5227!
De-Escalation is a tool we should all have in our tool belt of self defense. This training will help practice your reactions, response times and strengths to your plan! We provide all the tools, and will be dry firing each drill indoors.
Using verbal skills and quick decision-making give us the power to protect ourselves and see some red flags before we encounter a threat!
This is a privately scheduled seminar and not open to the public - to schedule your group or business, call or text us at (712) 570-5227. Or you can email us for a quote!

Don’t just bring your boom-stick, grab your fishing pole, boat, atv and trunks too!
This will be a weekend you won’t ever forget!
Come out and stretch your rifle's legs! Beginner's or experienced marksmen will enjoy this opportunity to engage targets from 100-1600m (That's a mile!) Caliber of rifle doesn't matter, but it will obviously affect the range you are capable of achieving. We've had everything from .204's, .223, .243, .308, .300, 6.5, 7mm, .338, 50 and a bunch of others out here! You will learn to push the limits of whatever you bring!
Here's a quick run down of what we will cover:
*Reading wind, mirage and understanding the effect that it will have on your round.
*Ballistics: This will be down and dirty. We could teach a whole two-day class just on this, but you'd sleep through most of it!
*Range Estimation, naked eye, LRF's and milling with your reticle.
*Understanding the make up and functions of your scope. Strengths and weaknesses of your optic.
*Reading Trace
*Mils/MOA breakdown
*How to spot: The unsung hero of LRP shooting.
*Fundamentals of long range marksmanship: mastering these will pay dividends with any firearm you pick up!
*Gear and rifle setups: what works and what doesn't. By the end of this course, you will know what you love and hate about your current setup.
*Rapid Target Engagements (RTE)
*Hold-Offs, Kentucky Windage aka SWAG (Sniper's Wild Ass Guess)
*And a ton more!
Rev-Tac's lead instructors for this course are US Army Snipers and Marine Scout Snipers that manage to take the mystery out of long-range engagements, making it simple and fun! We make every shot we take during this training count, so start wrapping your head around "slow and methodical" instead of "spray and pray".
If you think you need to practice beforehand, that's ok, but worry less about distance and more about nice tight shot groups.
What to bring:
1-Layer your clothing...we start in the morning and go into the evening, so the weather will change!
2- Bring at least one scoped rifle, and 150-300 rounds per rifle. Some guys will do grouping drills with their .22 and then work with their larger caliber rifles at distance. We can hook you up with a .22 for grouping if you don't have one.
3- Bipods are nice, but if you don't have one then you will run off of a ruck or bags.
4- Water and snacks! We have a meal package to include 5 meals!
5- Bring an open mind and great attitude. We shoot in the rain or shine, so be mentally prepared for that. There will be stress shooting and some cardio on the second day, know your limits!
6- Bring the tools to tighten your optics, mounts, chassis...whatever you may need that isn't standard. Chances are, we've got it, but just in case!
****Because this course is designed to be a small even-numbered group...prepayment is required to ensure your slot. You can pay on our website at WWW.REV-TAC.COM or mail us a check to hold your spot!
