This 2-3 hours of real-world training will make up for DAYS on the range doing tactics. Why? I think one of our clients said it best:

“MORE TRAINING: Thursday spent 2 hours in a force on force class, putting to practice skills previously learned against paper targets to take up airsoft guns (glock 19 replica). Clearing rooms to get to loved ones. Tim Grover called the techniques: slicing the pie, whack a mole, and not hanging out in a fatal funnel. I believe the class costs $50 for range members. PCS class members take the class as part of our regular monthly tuition. Though I have had many opportunities in the past to demonstrate the skills under the instructors critical eye, yet when someone is shooting back at you then the lessons are really made. My biggest takeaways were NOT hanging out in the fatal funnel, remember to use the sights for accurate shots, suppressing fire to control the adversary, keeping distance from cover to gain advantageous angles, how exhausting it really is to be on high alert, tensed up, focused, to use everything to your advantage including reflections in windows, if you must go thru a fatal funnel do it deliberately and quickly with a plan of action. We ran scenarios lights on and lights off. The high point of the evening for me was clearing the stairway (the ultimate fatal funnel) with an ambusher waiting somewhere at the top of stairs. The ultimate pie-slicing exercise - I won that one and am hoping from that success my skills were improved that night. Recommend this class which will be run again next Thursday 6:00. I will be there again for some more, Lord willing. Another class taught at Rev-Tac I heartily recommend to us besides Rev-Tacs Church Security Class is their "Critical Incident Training".

“One thing that disappointed me in myself Thursday was the number of misses I had. Several times when I had a target, though small, I missed. My shots were undoubtedly very rushed but I hated that there were misses. Some of those misses ended up costing me my life. Need to make sure I have accurately aimed fire. “

Guys you can be a great shot on the range and die from silly mistakes in reality. Come train this Thursday.
