Off-Road Seminar and Recovery Class 12.28.25
Off-Road Seminar and Recovery Class 12.28.25
8:00AM - 12:00PM
Here's a fun class over Christmas Break! Many of us have 4 wheel drive but aren't comfortable using it. The classroom portion of this seminar breaks down how 4wd truly works, suspension, sway bars, traction controls and approach/departure/break-over angles. We learn about the positive and negative sides of aftermarket offroad parts. Then we jump into self-recovery (getting unstuck) and pulling other people out. We cover the safety concerns as well as the equipment and placement of that equipment in our live, hands on demonstrations outside! Then you have the option of trying some simple offroad concepts on your own. Nothing will cause body damage, but will give great lessons for anyone who is curious. This class doesn't replace our Overlanding Adventure Weekends in the spring, and fall...but is a great place to start!
What to bring: 4wd vehicle, any recovery equipment that you have already. You sure don't have to go buy anything for this class! Note taking material. We usually will run into Jackson at the end of class for lunch together, so stick around for that!
Course cost: $100 per vehicle. Bring your family and friends along!
Price includes tax, refunds require a 10% restocking fee. (5-student/rig minimum for this course)
