This isn’t just a range…it’s an experience! The goal has been to make this a destination that is both relaxing and challenging for you and the entire family!

What we’re proud of out here:

The scenery is unbeatable with a stocked spring-fed pond, old growth trees and a soothing waterfall that will put your mind at ease. Come drink coffee on the floating docks, or get wet with the waterslide and rope swing! Fall is the best time to start a fire in our outdoor fire pit or sit around the wood stove inside! You’ll see more than your fair share of wildlife from the friendly chickens and ducks to deer and turkey that stop by the pond for a drink.

With more to do than just shooting, the whole family will have a blast! Try out the outdoor axe throwing, the 3D archery range, our indoor rock wall or our paintball/air soft fields! Want to incorporate fitness? We have a military grade obstacle course along with a pull-up bar, climbing rope and more!

If none of that sounds fun, and you’d rather just curl up on the leather couches with a book you sure can! All the tv’s are smart in the facility so you can binge watch Netflix while the rest of the family does there thing!

Our Range:

This is one of the only places that you can get out from 25 to 800 yards with a rifle on 24 pieces of AR500 steel. We are also one of, if not the only place, around that you are allowed to draw from a holster, shoot and move, and train as realistically as needed to be a well-rounded personal defender. With two pistol pits, a really nice rifle range, a heated/cooled shooting area, a fancy wirelessly controlled clay thrower, lots of fun pistol steel to shoot and other well-thought out additions to the range, you will maximize your enjoyment as you sharpen your skills! We have our staff that is here to help anyway we can from amazing classes to private lessons. Just let us know how we can make your experience better!

Lastly, we have 3 full camper hookups and the Combat Cabin by the pond. Our bunkhouse is also available for guests!

Fate favors the prepared.

our mission

The instructors at Rev-Tac believe that quality training is the foundation for safe handling of firearms and in-the-moment decision making. We want everyone who owns a firearm to know how to use it well. We believe that our slogan "Practice Makes Prepared" says it best. Through great training, you can potentially save your life, and the lives of others...because really... YOU are ultimately the only person who is responsible for your life.

meet our instructors:

JT Grover
Owner
Lead Firearm Instructor

Jt started Rev-Tac in 2010 as a part-time passion for preparing both the public and his peers for surviving critical incidents. His 20+ year service to this country has provided real-world experience that translates into success on life's battlefields. He doesn't spend his time in front of you shoving "war stories" down your throat though! One of the largest factors to becoming a Rev-Tac Instructor is that you are humble enough to recognize that your personal experiences aren't for everyone. That's why he has hand-picked some of the best instructors out there that are more than qualified but love teaching your grandma as much as much as they love teaching "cool guys".

As a successful career sniper, JT is currently leading multiple sniper teams for a Airborne Infantry Unit. He has been his sniper team's medic for many years as well as a paid city firefighter/medic for 11 years. JT has multiple deployments in support of the global war on terror, as well as supporting continental US missions from floods to riots.  He dabbled in law-enforcement for a few years before realizing that wasn't the direction he wanted to go but remains passionate about preparing this country's law enforcement for success under extreme pressure. His dedication to his craft lead him to instruct at one of the US Army's premiere sniper schools for a few years before taking Rev-Tac full-time in 2015. Jt loves teaching long-range precision, carbine classes and defensive pistol. He wants people to know that gunfighting isn't the only tool you should have in your tactical toolbox though! Check out all the other classes that we have also!

After returning from NTC in 2021, he took the Sniper indoc and was moved into the Sniper Section as a team leader.

12 years and counting with the Navy, ten of those as a Navy Seal.

JD is passionate about taking your shooting and tactics to the next level. His instruction style is both fun and easy going, but he demands excellence from his students.

His qualifications are 28 years of service in the US Navy with 26 of those as a dedicated Navy SEAL. JP worked for Panthera Worldwide as both a firearms and tactics instructor for Tier 1 support units as well as training foreign special operation units.  After that, he did anti-piracy security contracting before coming to us!  He'd be the last to tell you about his service and that's why we love this humble instructor so much! He's also a NRA certified instructor and loves teaching our civilian classes as much as our agency classes! Come learn a thing or two from this guy!
